Cedar Street Courtyard is probably one of the reasons why Austin, Texas is known as “The Live Music Capital of the World.” Since 1995, this live music heaven has been a favorite of locals and travelers for its great atmosphere, drinks, and music. Located at 208 West 4^th Street, it is one of many upscale and trendy venues in the Warehouse District. Stop by any night of the week and you’ll be guaranteed to hear some great live music and cover bands.

Anyone who loves a British accent should check out indie rocker Lee MacDougall. MacDougall has been gaining popularity both in Europe and the United States, and the accent is far from the only reason why. While this singer-songwriter might not be enjoying international stardom yet, his sincere lyrics, awesome acoustic sounds and passion make him worthy of comparison with big-name musicians from the United Kingdom such as The Beatles and Rod Stewart. It hasn’t taken long for MacDougall to produce some great songs and put on some amazing shows.

Following his recent success on his “If Walls Could Talk” tour, MacDougall is about to embark on his second US tour, “All the Right Places.” His new self-produced album, For a Few Tales More, will be released to coincide with his tour and includes songs “Hindsight” and “Smile.” His tour will begin August 4 in New York City and continue throughout the US until his final US show on October 1 back in New York. One stop will be in Austin, TX, a place he is familiar with since he played at the SXSW festival in March. This week, we published an interview with Lee MacDougall on the blog. The winners of the contest for the five pairs of tickets will be notified on August 22nd by 3pm PST. August 24th by 3pm PST.

The show itself is a 21+ event, so contest participants must be of the age of 21 or older.
